Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the IDPWA portal. These terms govern your access to and use of our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the IDPWA portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions herein, you may not access the portal or use any of its services. These terms apply to all members, visitors, and users of the portal.
2. Membership Eligibility
Membership in IDPWA (Internet, DTP & Photostat Workers Association) is open to individuals engaged in internet café operations, DTP services, photostat/photocopy services, and related online service businesses in Kerala. Applicants must provide accurate information during registration and must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Member Responsibilities
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. You agree not to share your login details with any third party. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Members must promptly notify IDPWA of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the portal only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not use the portal to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material, engage in any conduct that is abusive, threatening, or defamatory, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the portal.
5. Membership Dues and Fees
Members are required to pay membership dues as prescribed by the IDPWA committee. Failure to pay dues may result in suspension or termination of membership. All fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise decided by the executive committee. The association reserves the right to revise membership fees with prior notice to members.
6. Code of Conduct
All members are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times when representing IDPWA. Members must not engage in any activity that could bring disrepute to the association. Any disputes between members shall be resolved through the association's internal grievance redressal mechanism before seeking external recourse.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on this portal are the property of IDPWA or their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this portal without prior written permission from IDPWA.
8. Limitation of Liability
IDPWA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal or services. The association provides the portal on an 'as is' basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the portal's operation or the information, content, or materials included therein.
9. Termination
IDPWA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the portal at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, your right to use the portal ceases immediately.
10. Amendments
IDPWA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the portal. Your continued use of the portal after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
